system?
It was developed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia to
facilitate online SSM registration and renewal.
Below is the complete information and step-by-step guide on
how to register / renew SSM online through the ezBiz SSM 2020 system.

Every individual who does business including online business
/ freelance needs to register your business:
- Registration costs just RM60 a year.
- The purpose of SSM registration is to enable you to open a current account at the bank for any ongoing purchase or transaction.
- The bank statement is what the bank wants if you want to apply for a loan such as a home loan / car loan.
- And don't forget to pay taxes.
- Taxpayers are more "looked after" by bankers.
Registration fo SSM ezBiz login
To facilitate your business registration, you need to open
an account at ezBis SSM.
To go to https://ezbiz.ssm.com.my/ and click “Sign Up”.
Fill in your contact card number and full name information
and click “Register”.
Your registration must be completed at any SSM counter for
IC verification purposes.
At the counter you can continue to register for SSM by
filling in the following information:
- Name of business
- Business start date
- Business address
- Business branch address (if applicable)
- Owner and partner information
- Type of business to run
- Submit a copy of the partnership agreement (if any)
If you're not ready, you can sign up online at home.
Here's an example of an SSM Form you need to fill out:
If your business is registered under your own name, you only
have to pay RM30 + RM10 (business information).
However if you sign up for a trade name like ABC Trading /
ABC Resources, you will have to pay RM60 + RM10.

After completing your registration you can download the
business information which is Form D - Business Registration Certificate.
Renew at SSM online
To renew SSM online, all you have to do is log into SSM's ezBiz system and select "Renewal by Owners".
- The system will then display a list of businesses registered using your IC.
- Please select the business you want to renew and make an online payment.
Then you can download Form E as follows:
- The ezBiz system can also be used to renew your non-SSM SSM.
- And it can also be used to sign up for a new SSM.
